(1) Police personnel will receive an amount equal to one month's salary for festivals celebrated according to their religion, culture and tradition every year as festival expenses. Such amount can be paid by the employees once in a financial year on the occasion of the main festival celebrated according to their religion, culture and tradition.
(2) The police personnel under suspension will also get the festival expenses of Sub-rule (1).
(3) An amount equal to one month's pension will be given to the retired employee as a festival expense.
